Aussie property titans join forces on The Langston

As one of Australia's leading property developers, Cbus Property is always focussed on great partnerships that deliver the best outcomes for our purchasers. This is why we appointed Hutchinson Builders, one of the country’s largest privately-owned construction companies, as building contractor on The Langston. Hutchies, as they’re commonly known, have an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality projects in several states, and collectively, we’re committed to creating a high-quality residential community at The Langston.

According our CEO, Adrian Pozzo, the quality of The Langston’s apartments and the credentials of the team behind the project are key differentiating factors for savvy buyers comparing The Langston to other developments in the market.

“There are plenty of developers in the market, but not many that have the backing of one of Australia's largest industry superannuation funds, which we have with Cbus,” says Adrian. “On top of this, we have a strong track record of delivering high-quality apartments in three states and a 100% commitment to the Australian market – factors which have proven to be very important for buyers looking for some reassurance in the current marketplace. Combined with the team at Hutchinson Builders, who bring over a century of experience and a reputation as one of Australia’s best national construction firms, it’s a formula for success.”

Both companies are also committed to safety, adds Greg Quinn, Managing Director of Hutchinson Builders.

“We're dedicated to a quality build and this is why we engage independent third-party consultants to look at structural and building services designs to ensure the project results in a quality new home for purchasers,” says Greg. “It goes without saying that buyers now need an extra layer of assurance before making a purchasing decision, and so we’re very open and transparent about our processes and can supply all the relevant certifications as required. As it stands, the project is right on schedule, with our first suspended slab about to be built and our second tower crane recently erected, while we’ve removed over 40,000 cubic metres of rock and soil from The Langston site, with only 10,000 cubic metres still to be excavated.”

Upon its completion in the third quarter of 2021, The Langston will feature three towers of 19, 24 and 29 storeys, and will include a mixed-use precinct comprising 2,400sqm of retail space and 2,750 sqm of communal open space that is accessible to the public.
