Sydney’s booming suburb of Epping will welcome the return of its largest and most exciting festival this spring, with The Langston Weekender set to transform Epping’s town centre.
To be held at Cbus Property’s The Langston Epping, situated just 100 metres from Epping Railway Station, the event marks the long-awaited return of The Langston Weekender, following the inaugural festival held in 2018.
Come down for a family-friendly day of fun, celebration and entertainment at The Langston, featuring market stalls, art workshops, food and music, an animal farm and groovy beats from well-known local DJ, chef and author, DJ Levins. The event will also officially acknowledge the completion and official grand opening of The Langston’s community precinct with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Importantly, the event will be suitable for all ages, with kid-friendly activities ranging from face painting, giant yard games and music by children’s entertainers The Vegetable Plot, to drop-in craft workshops by Handy With Scissors and ceramic art from visual artist Jayanto Tan. Not just for the little ones, the grown-ups will also relish the opportunity to browse a wide variety of market stalls, be entertained by First Nations dance performances, and perhaps even put their singing skills to the test with a spot of karaoke.
To celebrate the occasion, The Langston’s new retailers will also be offering a range of exciting grand opening offers, with one-day-only deals from on-site supermarket Mint Fresh IGA, gym operators Team Bros and coffee experts Brew Bar… which you do not want to miss!
Continuing the fun-filled day of activity, The Langston Weekender will be followed by the City of Parramatta’s Parramatta Moon Markets, from 5pm – 9pm, within The Langston’s public plaza.
